Shred It!
Feeling the pinch from landfill cost? Concept Products Corp. in Paoli, PA., has developed a portable shredder that can help you reduce waste and benefit the environment through recycling. The Shred-All has a waste-reduction ratio of up to seven to one, and can handle everything from lumber, metal studs, and drywall to plastics and even tires.
The shredder, which can be operated by one person, has a low RPM diesel engine that can generate up to 24,000 pounds of torque. This combination of low speed and high torque ensures a quiet operation and safety from flying debris and dust, making it suitable for use in dense areas. The shredder can be towed easily on double axles, so it can be used at several locations during a workday.
